Shadow AI – the use of personal AI accounts for work-related tasks
Welcome to a lunch seminar where we discuss the growing phenomenon of Shadow AI – the use of personal AI accounts for work-related tasks, often outside an organisation’s approved systems.
From academia and healthcare to startups and established companies, Shadow AI is becoming an increasingly relevant issue, bringing both opportunities and challenges.
- What challenges does Shadow AI create?
- Are there any notable examples or incidents?
- What are the potential benefits?
- And how should organisations approach the use of shadow AI?
The seminar will begin with a short presentation by Fredrik Carlsson, Medical Doctor, Senior Software Engineer, and PhD student focusing on AI in healthcare, followed by an open discussion led by Magnus Boman, Professor of AI in Health. Both are part of the Centre for AI Innovation team at Karolinska Institutet.
A light lunch will be served to registered attendants
The seminar is arranged by the Centre for AI Innovation, Karolinska Institutet Innovation, A Working Lab, and TEF-Health, the European Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics
We look forward to welcoming you!
