Meet Karim Cassimjee, CEO and Co-Founder at EnginZyme
From their base here at Campus Solna, EnginZymes ambition is to play a key role in tackling climate change — both by accelerating the industry’s transition to sustainability, and by innovating solutions for other industries through novel chemical products.
Karim holds a PhD in Biotechnology from KTH. In 2014, he co-founded Enginzyme, where he currently serves as CEO, with the aim of greening the chemical industry. Under his leadership, the company has raised over €35 million in Sweden and internationally. Enginzyme serves clients across the pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, food production, and cosmetics industries.
