KI Science Park Business Breakfast – August 2026
What does it really take to build a life science company that creates lasting value?
Join us for a Business Breakfast with Jonas Hansson, entrepreneur, investor and former co-founder and CEO of Wilson Therapeutics, who led the company from inception to one of Sweden’s most notable life science success stories. In 2018, Wilson Therapeutics was acquired by Alexion Pharmaceuticals in a transaction valued at approximately USD 855 million.
Drawing on experiences from both industry and entrepreneurship, Jonas will share lessons from building Wilson Therapeutics—from securing financing and attracting investors to navigating strategic partnerships and preparing for a successful exit. He will also reflect on how his perspective has evolved through venture capital, board assignments and his current work as co-founder of Purpose Pharma and Aurelia Partners.
This session is particularly relevant for founders and innovators building the next generation of life science companies. What creates long-term value? How do investors think? And how do you prepare a company for opportunities that may be years away?
