How do you build and scale a life science company in a rapidly evolving field – and what does it take to lead in that phase?

At this Business Breakfast, Klaus Langhoff-Roos, CEO of BioLamina, will share how the company is developing at the intersection of cutting-edge stem cell research and industrial application. Originating from ideas at Karolinska Institutet, BioLamina has grown into a global supplier of defined, human laminins, which are a base for delivering functional cures to e.g. Diabetes and Parkinson’s Disease that are currently in Phase III. As these therapies reach patients and the cell therapy field expands – the company is now navigating its next phase of growth.

Rather than focusing solely on the company’s journey so far, Klaus will discuss how BioLamina views its field today, how the company is positioning itself for the future, and the role of strategic collaborations in driving both innovation and scale. He will also reflect on leadership and “company building” when stepping into an established organization – and what it means to lead, grow, and professionalize a company in its current phase.
